STATEMENT and DECLARATION of Trade-Mark No. 43,257, registered August 30, 1904. Application filed December 10, 1903.

Statement.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it know, that we, Kampfe Bros., a firm domiciled in the borough of Manhattan, county of New York, State of New York, and doing business at No. 8 Reade street, in said city, and composed of the following members, Frederick Kampfe, Richard Kampfe and Otto Kampfe, citizens of the United States, have adopted for our use a Trade-Mark for Razors and Razor-Blades of which the following is a description.

As shown int the accompanying facsimile, our trade-mark consists of the representation of a star or the word “STAR.” or both.

This trade-mark has been continuously used in our business since June 1, 1880.

The class of merchandise to which this trade-mark is appropriated is shaving appliances and the particular description of goods comprised in said class upon which we use the said trade-mark is razors and razor-blades. It is usually displayed by being stamped or otherwise marked upon the goods themselves or on cases or other packages containing the goods by placing thereon a printed label on which the described trade-mark is shown.

Declaration.

State of New York, county of New York, s.s.:

Otto Kampfe, being duly sworn, deposes and says that he is a member of the firm of Kampfe Bros., the applicant named in the foregoing statement; that he verily believes that the foregoing statement is true; that the said firm at this time has a right to the use of the trade-mark therein described; that no other person, firm or corporation has the right to such use, either in the identical form or in any such near resemblance thereto as might be calculated to deceive; that the trade-mark is used by the said firm in commerce between the United States and foreign nations or Indian tribes, and particularly with Germany, Great Britain and Canada; and that the description and facsimile presented for record truly represent the trade-mark sought to be registered.
